Once upon a time, when I first started geocaching, there was a cache placed down here. Or at least I thought there was. Now, I can't be sure, because I never found it. This park was closed for a few years due to some vandalism of the playground equipment. It is a shame it was closed because it is a little gem! Luckily, it has opened back up! There is a pavilion, playground equipment, swings, and some benches. Stroll on down through the park, and across the bridge. Take in that lovely view of the Sauquoit Creek. It really is very peaceful and quite beautiful. Plus, how often do you actually see covered bridges?! The cache itself is a small magnetic container. No room for trackables, possibly room for some tiny SWAG.***You do not need to go in the water to retrieve this cache!!!***
