This path takes you along the edge of birkdale's famous sand dunes and around many concealed lakes. The sand dunes are also home to the decreasing natterjack toad and hous many spawning pools. This cache was my first of the series I am doing around the less popular areas of birkdale and southport.
This route gets very busy in summer so beware of being spotted accessing the cache. During the winter it becomes very boggy and wet so take adequate footwear.
If the log is found wet let me know and I will change it.
