This lowland trail along the Natchez Trace takes you through an area where the rich soil and abundant moisture support a variety of large, water tolerant trees.
Bald Cypress, Tulip Poplar, Sycamore, and Water Oak thrive in the swampy backwater channels that wind through the bottomland.
