Geocache Description:

There is a 20 minute walk required to gather the information necessary to answer the questions to receive credit for this cache. Take good notes!

This lowland trail along the Natchez Trace takes you through an area where the rich soil and abundant moisture support a variety of large, water tolerant trees. Bald Cypress, Tulip Poplar, Sycamore, and Water Oak thrive in the swampy backwater channels that wind through the bottomland. To retain credit for this cache, answer me these questions three, and send the responses to my profile id! 1) What does the Black Willow do in moist situations? 2) What may have happened to the 'parent' Shag Bark Hickory Tree? 3) What kind of tree is at N34' 27.710 W88' 28.664? (The answer is on a small sign posted next to it.)
