Roman Nose Lakes Traditional Cache

The cache is located a short distance from the Roman Nose Lakes trailhead at an elevation of aprox. 6000 feet and is easy to find after a short 1/4 mile hike.
The Roman Nose Lakes Recreation area is a destination for fishermen, hikers, bikers, and huckleberry pickers. There is a campground, vaulted toilets, wheelchair access boardwalks for fishing, and an overflow parking area. With three lakes to pick from, there is room for everybody. To access the area, head up Snow Creek Road #402 and follow signs through Caribou Pass and Ruby Pass. The route is well marked and accessable from late June through early November by 2WD cars. The area is well known for being one of the best huckleberry hotspots around, with literally thousands of gallons of berries picked yearly.
The cache is a 50 cal. ammo can with these starting contents; Logbook, 2 pencils, Mule deer coffee cup, fishing lures and flies book, fishing lures and flies packet, candle, caribiner, light stick, and the F14 Tomcat travelbug. Please refer to the hints, as the GPS was "all over the place" the day I was here. The co-ordinates were averaged over 1/2 hour and can stand to be fine tuned!
This is my first cache and I hope you like it! Bring your camera because the wildlife and scenery is unbelievable!
