The 32nd in a series of caches I hope will bring attention to DC's wealth of "hidden" mural art.
(This series was placed by exmachina, who created the first 31 caches. In 2019, caisulli adopted this series and this is the first addition after the hand-off.)
Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the second female justice named to the supreme court, now stands 2 stories tall in this 2019 mural by Rose Jaffe on the side of the Flock DC building. RBG is depicted wearing a signature decorative collar over her judicial robe, standing tall and smiling on the side of the red building. Birds are painted around her and flying from her hands. Jaffe, who spent 10 days creating the mural, says she hopes it "honors the importance of [Ginsburg's] larger-than-life legacy." You can read more about the mural here.
