This cache is not a puzzle. Everything you need can be found at the published GZ. Due to the unique qualities of the cache it becomes a true Mystery! If attempted, please return the cache to the way you found it. The dead prefer it that way. I strongly recommend not disturbing the dead at night.
Do Not Disturb the Dead.
The Ghost of Lake Denmark is located at the edge of an abandoned pump house along the shores of the forbidden lake. Where would you hide the body? Most people in the area know the story of the Picatinny Arsenal Explosion, but long before that was a more gruesome event.
On the edge of Lake Denmark lies an abandoned pump house, not far from the edge of the former Oreland Railway. Rumor has it that in the late 19th Century the widow Abigale Turnbuckle made her way on to the tracks late at night. The number 13 rail was running late and picking up speed. It happened so quickly, the engineer could not react. He panicked and pulled hard at the brake, but all too late.
For generations the locals would tell you Abigale was to never rest. In hushed tones, there were rumors of the engineer hiding what remained of Abigale, but who was to really know?
Do Not Disturb the Dead.
Whilst the location lies upon the only part of Lake Demark not occupied by the Arsenal, a visit is not recommended. The pump house lies just off an orphaned piece of the North Morris Greenway and is wedged into public domain, in the way a spider lures a fly into her web. There she waits, to be found, to be freed, to haunt those who seek her.
In the shadow of the crime lies what remains of the distant memory. A trinity of hidden clues will unleash what you seek… but to what price?
