A former cache hide from the early days of geocaching in Norfolk.
(GCVT52 -- FUNNY MONEY by THE GO GETTERS)
Published in May of 2006 and lasted a good 5 years. The cache was archived by July 2011, when it was stolen.
Since the original hide location has now been taken by another close by hide, I decided to mix this one up a little and create a puzzle by tying the old location with the new hide. The posted coordinates take you to the original hide location and you can go there to look around in awe at the early cache hide. LOL! To find the new cache, project a waypoint 128 meters at a bearing of 197 degrees true north from the posted coordinates.
The original cache gave note to the paper money we received like CT money, but looking at the old pictures, times have changed and most retailers have discontinued their funny money.
A blurb from the original cache description:
"Over the years many retailers have issued there own money to use in there stores some call it Funny Money, and that's the theme I would like to maintain in this cache. It would be nice if cachers could keep it interesting by keeping a nice assortment. If you have nothing to trade, then maybe just look them over."
You are looking for a camoed bison since camoed bisons are the best!
