Awhile back there was another cache with almost the same title at this site which you may have found before. This is a new cache in a slightly different spot. So go find this one and get another notch on your geocaching belt.
The cache is located in Gower Park. The posted hours of operation: 5 AM to 9 PM Please place this one back exactly where you found it. BYOP. Muggles can be a concern of course.
You should have no trouble locating the 'inspiration' for this cache. Locating the actual container could be a bit more difficult. Caution-- This one is easy to make harder than it actually is. It is not necessary to climb up, on, or under the vehicle. One more thing--this one 'holds no currency'.
Back in December of 1944 a large bulge was developing in the line of the Allied forces fighting the German forces in World War II. In the course of the battle General McAuliffe and his forces were surrounded by the enemy in the cross-roads town of Bastogne. When asked to surrender by the German commander he replied: "Patton's arrival is pending. . .ahh NUTS!!" (or something like that). When General Patton heard of McAuliffe's reply it inspired him to push his 3rd Army forces harder than than he usually did to reach Bastogne and relieve the U.S. Army forces.
