This cache is stashed at near the end of a foot trail just off the main trail to a popular cave entrance. No bushwacking required. Biggest challenge is getting in and out unseen by aliens.
We placed this cache at the end of kiddo's first spelunking adventure. We were actually looking for another cache that is in the area, but when we realised we were a mile+ off (at the wrong end of the cave) we decided it was a good place to stash our own cache. It is tucked under an old fallen tree, beside a foot trail that branches off the main paved trail. This is a popular spot for aliens, particularly on warm sunny days, so a little stealth may be required. If you plan this right you can make it a two cache day and find one at each end of a 1.75 mile lava tube.
