Day 4 of the Ramblers annual walking holiday, which this year (2019) was on Dartmoor, was a rest day after their strenuous walk the previous day on the open moor near the source of the Teign. So day 5 on 19th July saw them heading towards the west of the moor for a much easier walk organised by Bob & Sally.
This was their longest road trip yet to get to their walk and they were soon heading down the A386 through Tavistock to Yelverton and then on the country lanes to Cadover Bridge - a journey of well over 25 miles and it was 10.30am before they could start their walk. The walk itself took them westwards along the south bank of the Plym before crossing both the Plym and the Meavy and returning across Wigford Down to Cadover Bridge. Although they had been introduced to caching on day 1, this route had very few caches on their walk of approximately 5 miles and which took them approximately 3 hours to complete.
You will need to determine where else they visited and the following photos should be helpful. To find the cache you will need to turn around and spot the PO Box almost opposite. This has the number PL20 KLM. You will need KLM to locate the final cache of this series. The cache can be found to the left of the brick pillar.
