Geocache Description:

My son loves Dinosaurs and his favorite is the T-Rex. He also loves to go Geocaching with his sisters. The Tyrannosaurus Rex lived over 66 million years ago here in North America during the late Cretaceous Period. He could be up to 40 Feet long and weigh over 15,000 pounds. He had short but powerful forelimbs. He was an apex predator at the top of the food chain and being a carnivore ate meat. He had 60 teeth with some of them 9 inches long with the strongest bite of any animal ever! SCARY!! More than 50 major specimens have been found. He is probably the most widely recognized dinosaur in pop culture. A near complete fossil skeleton named Sue can be found nearby in Chicago at the Field Museum of Natural History. Good luck hunting the Geocache! Sign the log and snap a picture of the enclosed Dino, but please leave it behind for the next hunter. Plenty of room for swag and a nice token for FTF. Thanks! Short walk down the path.
