Geocache Description:


The coordinates given will bring you to the new Hume Global Learning Centre, 44 Macedon St Sunbury. Certainly a change from the orange brick building that was the Sunbury Municipal Library prior to it being demolished in late 2017 to make way for this updated version, which opened on December 16th 2019.


The logbook is not at the posted coordinates, but you will be able to gain access to it from here.

Please note that the cache is not available 24/7

You will be able to sign the logbook during the following hours:
Monday to Wednesday 8am - 8pm
Thursday 8am - 10pm
Friday 8am - 5pm
Saturday 10am - 4pm
Sunday 1pm - 4pm

It is not available on public holidays

Hours may also vary during the Christmas/New Year period.

There are 6 waypoints which will help you solve the code.
They do not need to be done in order.
Although the cache/logbook is not available 24/7, gathering your information can be done at any time.
It can be easily done on foot, and will be a round trip of not much more than half a kilometre.

Please take extra care when crossing the road as it can be busy at times.

The cache contains a log book and room for small swaps.
There is a small token for FTF.

It fits in well with its surroundings, so please replace it as you found it.

As always, watch for muggles...there will usually be a few around, although you will be able to find a nice spot where you can sign the logbook in peace.

The cache has been placed with permission, and staff are aware of its existence.
