This is part of a series being placed by many geocachers along the Flagstaff Loop Trail. The container is starting out with a stubby pencil, but it's always wise to come with your own method of signing the log.
Although you can park along Woody Mountain Rd, the cache is on Arizona State Trust Land. To geocache on this property, you are required to purchase a recreation permit. Relevant information is available on the Arizona State Land Department website - https://land.az.gov/natural-resources/recreational-permits.
The South (S) and Southwest (SW) section caches have codes that lead to a S-SW Quadrant Mystery Cache. These codes will not be in all of the S-SW caches but randomly placed. Look for codes A, B, C, X, Y, and Z to locate the S-SW Mystery Cache. There will be a code in the FLT S-SW Quadrant Mystery Cache that will lead to a Final (Golden Egg) Mystery Cache. So save/remember any code you find in a Quadrant Mystery Cache!
Since this series is being placed by many geocachers it may take several months to complete the entire Flagstaff Loop Trail series. Happy Caching!
Most GPS Co-ordinates in this area seem to bounce around by 30 or more feet. Look around when you get close to GZ and you should have success.
