This cache belongs to the SideTracked series. It is not designed to take you to a magical place with a breathtaking view*. It's a distraction for the weary traveller, but anyone else can go and find it too. More Information can be found at the SideTracked Website.
* With that said, the cache is near a piece of art I like (even if not a breathtaking view). [Update: as of January 2023 the artwork at the gz is gone but I hope that it will be back once the nearby construction works are finished.]
Finchley Road is a London Underground station in zone 2 served by the Jubilee line and the Metropolitan line.
The station was opened in 1879 by the Metropolitan Railway. During the 1930s, new sections of deep tube tunnels were bored between Finchley Road and Baker Street to alleviate congestion and when these new tunnels opened in 1939, Finchley Road station was also served by Bakerloo line trains using the new tunnels. The Bakerloo line services were transferred to the Jubilee line when that line commenced operation in 1979.
To find the cache, take a look at the information boards giving directions above the station exit (the actual exit to the street, not the ticket gates). Note that the information is only available when the station is open thus not 24/7.
A = the total number of arrows (on all three boards)
B = the number of bus icons + the number of letters marking bus stops (on all three boards)
C = the number of arrows on the middle board
D = the number of leftward arrows on the middle board
