A cache on the Cannons Head Loop walkway where a low perspective of the new Cannons Creek viaduct can be seen.
When this cache was placed there was a temporary gnarly way to get onto the track. Now that the motorway finished the updated waypoint show where the old track goes which is much easier than the temporary one. Things get a little confusing down the bottom of the gully where you cross the creek. There has been a LOT of growth since cache placement but each side of the creek you can see the track you're trying to get to. Careful with the boggy areas if you don't choose the ideal route.
You'll be presented with this view pretty early:

Then right down the bottom you'll cross Cannons Creek. And it IS just a creek. Usually it's just a few centimetres deep but things might be different after recent rain.

| A substantial bridge for such a small creek. |
But it did carve this valley (looking the other way) |
From the creek it's a short climb to the cache. It should be pretty obvious where it is.

The view from ground zero.
The cache is a mega bison with just a log and pencil.
