Once again, it's that most wonderful time of the year - please join us as we celebrate our tenth annual Holiday Hoopla festival! Come eat and make merry with other geocachers, family and friends. This year's holiday event will again be at the Ken Baxter Community Center in Marysville.

Potluck
This year's WSGA 48 North Holiday Party will be a potluck dinner.
- Please bring a food item to share (based upon a long history of attending potlucks of various sorts, main dishes are particularly encouraged - you can only eat so many chips and dip or cupcakes).
- Plates, napkins, and plastic-ware will be provided.
- The WSGA will supply assorted beverages, but feel free to bring more, but NO ALCOHOL, please!
Gift Exchange (optional but fun!)
Bring one wrapped gift ($20 or less) to exchange for each person who would like to receive one. This is not a white elephant exchange, and gifts that are relevatnt to geocachers are the most appreciated. This year we'll provide the opportunity to either pick a new gift out of the stack or swipe a gift that has already been opened by someone else (no gift may be swiped more than twice).
Geocoin and Travel Bug Exchange:
Launch your new TBs or trade ones that need to head somewhere else on a new journey. We'll have separate spots for trackables that need to be traded and those that are for discovery only.
Caching opportunities:
There are hundreds of caches in the Marysville area. Make plans to cache on your way to the event and find some of them. Meet friends at the event and go find a few night caches on the way home.

Find out what we do, how to become a member, and what plans are in the works for the coming year. You do not need to be a WSGA member, nor are you required to join, to attend the festivities. We'll talk about the 20th Anniversary HQ celebration, Going Ape (which could be a giga event), and Geowoodstock that will be held in Abbotsford BC. In addition, you can find out more about the WSGA Campout for 2020, and our plans for chapter events for next year as well.
Raffle:
There will be a raffle. Tickets are free, one per person, and you must be present to win. Let crs98 know if you've got an item to donate.
Everyone is welcome -- members and non-members alike. This is a family event, so bring the kids! Please log your attendance plans (including spouses and children), so we'll have a rough idea of how many folks to expect.
Please let me (crs98) know if you are interesting in helping with this event. I'm looking for help with set up, tear down, kitchen, potluck table(s), gift table(s), and raffle(s). I can especially use people who can help set up starting at 4:30pm or help clean up from 7-7:30pm
