Cedar Beach has always been one of my favorite places on Long Island ever since I first visited the beach with my Grandma about 16 years ago. I've spent many, many hours here over the years, watching the crashing waves, listening to the various birds, enjoying countless sunsets. It is a beautiful area, and I felt it could use a couple more caches. I took advantage of an absolutely gorgeous fall afternoon, and after placing one new hide along the nature trail, I made my way over to this spot to hide another.
This should be a fairly easy find, although at certain times, MUCH more stealth may be required. You're looking for a nano with room only for the log, so be sure to BYOP. Please be aware of potential muggles, and re-hide where found. During certain hours in the summer, there is a fee to park.
Happy caching!
