This Domain was where I placed my first geocache 5 years ago !
The area has changed since then; and cutty grass and blackberry plants are no fun to walk through....so I have found another place to hide a cache here !
Ranui Domain is not as well known as other reserves....but is pleasant to walk through.
It can be accessed from Swanson Rd near the Stormwater Pond, or on the other side of Ranui from Robertson Rd or Carlas Way.
The Domain is home to Waitemata Seagulls RLFC and possibly other sports .
It has some bridges and boardwalks,,, concrete and gravel paths and bushy areas; a lake .. plus the Paremuka Stream runs through here.
Also it now has some exercise contraptions, and a path around it which is handy for little ones mastering bikes and scooters.
This new cache is tucked away near the edge of a bushy area. Smallish screw top tube with camo tape .
You needn't go far in....but be discreet please ! Rehide with natural camo please!
