Geocache Description:

SWEET TREAT

Welcome to my first cache. It is a puzzle or gadget cache that will require you to figure a couple things out before claiming the smiley. It is large enough for small trade items, a log, and travel bugs.

Ground rules: THIS CACHE and HIDE STYLE WAS PLACED WITH PERMISSION. The host has let us place this here and if you look toward the back of the property it is roped off. Please do not go behind the roped area as the cache is not there.

There is no task requiring any brute force, just a little patience perhaps. If muggles are present you may want to shield yourself with others or come another less active time. I think B4 1130 and after 915PM in the summer with kids are the best times to hit this. Although from OCTOBER to FEBRUARY the cache may be easily reached as we have permission. This is not a night cache.

It is estimated that it will take you at least 15 minutes to complete this cache.

To get the smiley you must open the log box by solving the four-digit combination which has 9,999 possibilities. Lucky for you, I’ve created a way to narrow down the possibilities to success for you.

To determine the combination to the log box:

FIRST DIGIT: Determine the three-digit state route number of the highway you just exited to get here. Take the first number and use it for the first number of the combination on the log box.

SECOND DIGIT: Count the number of letters in either one of the cache’s two rhyming names. This is the Second Number of the combination.

THIRD DIGIT: At this point you are on your own. You must open and retrieve the object at the bottom of the tube to obtain the third number of the combination. (There is no number but rather a group of dots that you need to count).

(NOTE: There is a strange looking tool some-where in the cache to help you complete this. It may take some patience to get the tool in order to use it. Just take your time and you should be able to get it. The tip of the tool is bent very intentionally (two 90 degree bends))

FOURTH DIGIT: Same as the second digit.

Remember to replace all items where they began Top and Bottom of tube, log box and mix the combination after you lock it in this HIGH MUGGLE area.

Congrats on your find!

CONGRATS TO DATRUCKS CREW WHO CLAIMED THE FIRST TO FIND AND SOLVE ON FLEWZILA'S FIRST HIDE!
