it's that
time of year again.
The temperature is
dropping, our bank accounts
are to, and their is a hustle and
bustle vibe in the crisp December air.
It seems to me that all Geocachers seem to
love Christmas time. After all finding a cache
is sort of like Christmas every day. Never know
what you will find until you open the darn thing up!
With that in mind it is time for our annual COG Christmas
Party!

Come on down (or up) to the Johnnie's Charcoal Broiler location in Moore for the annual COG Christmas get together! We have the party room reserved from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. You can get in line and order food or just come on in and join the party since no food purchase is necessary. With the business of the Christmas season I will try to keep this party pretty simple.
First off we will be having a gift exchange. You don't have to participate but if you do want to just bring a gift that is geocache, camping, or outdoor related to the party. Those who bring a gift will leave with a gift. It's up to each family how they want to do that. A family can bring one gift or each member bring a gift.....that's up to you guys. I would suggest that the gifts be in the $10 - $20 range but once again that is only a suggestion.
With the gift exchange I won't be handing out my customary door prizes but we will give out a prize for the Ugliest Christmas Sweater in attendance. Everyone will get to vote on their favorite sweater and we will tally up the votes and give out a prize for the winner!
Be sure to log your Will Attend and let us know how many are coming so I can give the restaurant a head count a week before the event!
