Geocache Description:

The theme of this puzzle cache was inspired by something that closely resembles white checker pieces at the final GZ. The cache is NOT at the posted co-ordinates. You will need to solve the puzzle to locate the actual cache which can be found at;

S 39 xx.xxx E 176 xx.xxx

Checker pieces can only move forward one diagonal space at a time towards the opponents side of the board. When capturing pieces, you can jump forward over your opponents piece and land on an empty adjacent diagonal space. Multiple jumps are valid, if after the first jump there is another eligible piece to jump and capture.

In general, you will gain an advantage over your opponent by crowning as many checker pieces as possible. When one of your checkers reaches the opposite end of the board (known as the king row), it will be crowned and will become a king. A kinged checker piece has the added advantage of moving both forward and backward.

HINT: In checkers, crowning a king is achieved by placing one of your captured pieces on top of it.

What's your next move? Checkers Anyone?
