There was a cache close by awhile back, but this was the location originally intended, yet another story for some other time. I had desire to place one near this spot due to the significance of what once transpired here. Back in the mid 70's a couple of members of the Rolling Stones band plus two others, stopped at a nearby eatery for lunch while passing through on their way from Memphis to Dallas just because they had not ever been to Arkansas. After dining, as they proceeded down the highway, an officer saw a little bit of swerving of their auto and pulled the auto over. When he asks for the usual info, he was asked if he wasn't aware of who they were, and from that incident Fordyce got its name nationally recognized! Newspapers as well as coast to coast network broadcast of the day the Rolling Stones got busted. Well, on to the cache; you're looking for a micro sized container with log only, hidden in traditional manner. There's parking available, but on Sunday, it would be best to wait until mid to late afternoon and on the other days as well be aware of muggles around. Congratulations go to TexasWriter for the FTF! After finding the log sheet dampened, I decided to double bag the log sheet and post this plea; once you find the cache and have inked the log, please return it to the same way you found it, with the utmost attention to preserving it for future cachers so as to prevent the moisture from getting the log wet. Thank you!
