Geocache Description:



A small rough-hewn Celtic wheel cross mounted onto a square plinth with a single step sqaure base. On the front face is a raised inverted sword of sacrifice. The dedication is written in black lettering.


You are the owner of a "Reverse-Geocache-Box", which will tell you the distance to the final cache, but not the direction. All the instructions and information you need to complete this wherigo are contained within the cartridge.

The cartridge for the wherigo was developed by -Waldmeister- with GC357G1 being the first and since has been re-used with the kind permission of the developer.

You will require three six digit numbers to activate the cartridge. Go to the war memorial, solve the clues and start the wherigo cartridge.

Have a look around the memorial and find the small cross with 3 names on it - we will remember them.

You are after the position of the letter in the name. Take only the first time that the letter appears. Completely ignore duplicates. So for the first name N would be 10 and F would be 0.

MBATUJ (first name, top)
THTOJJ (second name, left)
MAYGCN (third name, right)

The checksum of all numbers is 47. You are looking for a magnetic 1.5ml container.

Update 2/4/23, if this cross goes missing then use three names on the war memorial itself. You are after the position of the letter in the initials and name. So for the last name T would be 10 and F would be 0.
