Eine ungezähmte Eiche an dem Rastplatz „Bansower Forst“ grüßt auf dem Weg nach Norden und lädt zu einem kurzen Stopp ein.
Vertretet Euch für ein paar Minuten die Beine (200m) auf dem etwas höher gelegenen Terrain und steuert die Koordinaten an. Ein aktuelles Foto vom Baum als Loganhang wäre sehr schön.
Und ein Tipp für MV: In Ivenack (50 km östlich) stehen sehr gewaltige Eichen, unter anderem die Nr. 2, 17,18 und 26 der dicksten Eichen Deutschlands bzw. auch die mit 140 m³ volumenreichste Europas.

Oak Tree at the motorway station
A real untamed oak tree is guiding you to the Bansower Forst motorway station (without service). Take a break and a walk of 200 m and you get the cache. If you like, take a picture of the tree and post it together with your log.
Have a safe trip home/ to your target!
Touristic hint: If you hunt 50 km East, you can visit a garden in the village Ivenack with some of the thickest oak trees of Europe, they are no. 2, 17,18 and 26 in Germany and no 2 is with 140 m³ the one with the highest volume of wood in whole Europe.
