The cache is NOT at the "Final Location" in waypoints. Welcome to my first subway cache. This will be a series including all NYC subway lines one day. Maybe even MNR and LIRR... 👀 Part 1 of this series will be the F line. You will be following the F train line from end to end or end. We will follow the F line from Coney Island Stillwell Avenue up to Jamaica 179th Street. I know, this is a long way to go in one day. You don't have to do it in one day! Maybe go one station at a time or something like that. But if you're up for the challenge to do it in one day, I encourage you to do that. If not, that's totally fine to. We will be stopping at 6 stations along the F line including Coney Island Stillwell Avenue and Jamaica 179th Street. At each station, there will be coordinate given to go to in or around the station. You don't have to follow the F line the whole way, but I encourage you to do so. Also, I'm pretty sure it's the fastest way. You're only getting off at 6 stops. Once you get to those coordinates, there will be a question you have to answer. All the questions/quizzes are multiple choice. One of the answers you could choose might look like this: 2. Water Street. Just remember the the number. In that case, it was 2. Once you have all the questions answered, add up all the numbers for the answers you selected. At the bottom of this description, it might say something like this: If you got 8, go to (coordinates)
If you got 9, go to (coordinates)
And so on. The hint is a very detailed description of where the cache is placed once you find the place it's supposed to be. Anyways, let's start!
Â
Welcome to Coney Island! The most popular beach spot in NYC! Anyone can go and ride roller coasters and other fun rides at Luna Park, swim in ice cold water at the beach, have a hot dog at the original Nathan's along the boardwalk, feed the seagulls and take the F train! Fun fact about Luna Park! Between 1904 and 1911, neighboring Luna Park was another theme park called Dreamland. It was created by William H. Reynolds who was a former senator and real estate developer. He made the park to compete with Luna Park which was noisy and loud. Now, why isn't it still here? Well, Dreamland set on fire. It was made of thin wood. Fire and wood don't go well together. Dreamland and another hotel completely burned down. Luckily, Luna Park was made of metal! Go to these coordinates: 40.576510, -73.980717 Go to these coordinates to answer the question for Coney Island Stillwell Avenue Station.

Our next station is Rosevelt Island. Still along the F line. Sorry we are skipping straight through Manhattan...
The place we're going to on Rosevelt Island isn't very near the train station but it's still on the island. Now known as the Rosevelt Island Visitor Center, was a place called a Trolley Kiosk. There used to be 5 of these around the city with now only 2 remaining. The one we're going to today is the last one you can still go inside. Now, what is a Trolley Kiosk? A Trolley Kiosk was a building with a set of stairs leading down to the trolley tracks. Go to these coordinates: 40.7576160, -73.9544959 Go there to answer the Rosevelt Island Station question.
