Op 18 september 1944 trokken geallieerde legers Eindhoven binnen en bevrijdden zo een van de eerste steden in Nederland van de Duitse bezetting. Vanuit het noorden kwam het Amerikaanse leger, vanuit het zuiden het Engelse; het Britse tweede Leger, met o.a. de Irish Guards. De Amerikanen ontmoetten de Britten in het centrum van de stad. Eindhoven telt 15 officiële oorlogsmonumenten. Middels deze serie labcaches bezoeken we 5 van deze monumenten. De tocht begint op het 18 septemberplein, vernoemd naar de dag dat Eindhoven werd bevrijd. Met de bonuscodes kan de bonuscache worden gevonden.

On September 18, 1944, the Allied armies entered Eindhoven and liberated one of the first cities in the Netherlands from the German occupation. Eindhoven has 15 official war monuments. Through this series of lab caches we visit 5 of these monuments. The tour starts on the 18 September square, named after the day that Eindhoven was liberated. The bonus cache can be found with the collected bonuscodes.

To grab the cache use your magnetic stick. These Adventure Lab series require a smartphone with internet connection.
