Owl's shrine
Torinokosanjou shrine is a shrine that sits on the border between Tochigi and Ibaraki prefectures. A prefectural border runs through the central part of the approach and main hall.
The main deity is a Amenohiwashinomikoto, and as the owl's shrine, there are many owl stone statues in addition to the largest owl statue in Japan, and it gathers faith.
The worship time is from sunrise to sunset, and no entry is allowed at night.

Torinokosanjou shrine is located on the top of the mountain, at the border of Tochigi and Ibaraki.
It will be a relatively wide road if you enter from the entrance on the Ibaraki prefecture side. You can also return to Ibaraki prefecture.
On the Tochigi Prefecture side, the road is narrow and there are places where cars can't pass each other, so it is usually an optional exit. (see Fig.1)
The cache is hiden where access is possible 24 hours a day.
There is no pen, so please bring it with you.

鷲子山上神社は、栃木県と茨城県の県境に鎮座する神社です。参道や本殿の中央部を県境が貫いています。
主祭神は天日鷲命であり、フクロウの神社として境内には日本一大きなフクロウ像の他、沢山のフクロウの石像が置かれ、信仰を集めています。
参拝時間は日の出から日没までで、夜間は参入禁止です。
－交通案内－
鷲子山上神社は栃木と茨城の県境、山の頂上にあります。
茨城県側の入口より入ると比較的広い道で、茨城県側に戻ることもできますが、栃木県側は道が狭く自動車のすれ違いが難しい箇所もありますので、通常は任意の出口としています。(Fig.1 参照)
