This cache is in an area that has quite the history. The train still goes through here, but years ago this was a wooden bridge that crossed over the tracks. The old Agrain building is nearby, which held grain from local farms, silos still intact along with the weight scale that was still operational till not so long ago. You can look up some other interests nearby like the train station itself. Look into the story behind how Pennington got its name. Plenty of history around this area if you want to look for it. This cache has only room for the log, so bring a pen and probably tweezers might help. After you sign the log take a little stroll down to the lake or take the dogs for a walk on the trails. Might have some car or walker traffic. Enjoy
Please log dnf’s to help me keep up the maintenance, thanks.
