Keška je venovaná Napervillskej ulici v Nitre, presnejšie mestu, po ktorom je táto ulica pomenovaná.
Naperville je mesto v americkom štáte Illinois vzdialené asi hodinu cesty autom od najväčšieho mesta štátu Chicaga. Na území s rozlohou približne 100 km2 žije takmer 150 000 obyvateľov. Už niekoľko rokov je v rôznych prestížnych rebríčkoch v USA označované ako jedno z najlepších a najbezpečnejších miest na bývanie.
Mesto má bohatú históriu. Úrodná krajina bola osídlená pôvodným obyvateľstvom, medzi prvých cudzincov patril Otec Jacques Marquette a francúzsky bádateľ Louis Joliet. Postupne prichádzali ďalší prisťahovalci napr. obchodník DuPage (po ňom je pomenovaná aj miestna rieka). V roku 1831 sa o najväčší rozvoj novovznikajúcej usadlosti zaslúžil kapitán Joseph Naper. Mestečko sa postupne rozrastalo až v roku 1890 bol Naperville zaregistrovaný ako mesto.
Ako tu žili obyvatelia v minulosti je dnes možné pozrieť si v múzeu v prírode - Naper Settlement, priamo v centre mesta. Často sú tu usporadúvané rôzne tematické aktivity. Obľúbeným miestom na trávenie voľného času je tiež Naperville Park District, kde sa konajú aj mnohé kultúrne podujatia pre celé rodiny. Jeho centrálnou časťou je Riverwalk, ktorý vedie popri rieke DuPage, Centennialskej pláži a vodnom parku. Za návštevu určite stojí aj detské múzeum DuPage, Morton arborétum, múzeum SciTech a taktiež množstvo obchodíkov či reštaurácií.
Mesto má vysoko vyvinutý školský systém, pričom študenti majú na výber medzi štátnymi, súkromnými alebo cirkevnými základnými a strednými školami. Dôležitosť sa kladie aj na univerzitné vzdelanie - sídli tu okrem iných North Central College.
Mesto Naperville je už od roku 1993 partnerským mestom Nitry. Zrodu vzájomnej spolupráci pomohli aj viaceré paralely – obomi mestami preteká rieka, sú to univerzitné mestá, majú podobné klimatické podmienky, poľnohospodárstvo, podobná rozloha/ počet obyvateľov..........a obe začínajú na N 😉

Naperville is a city in the American state of Illinois, located about an hour’s drive from the state’s largest city, Chicago. Nearly 150,000 people live in an area of approximately 100 km2. For several years it has been ranked in various prestigious U.S. rankings as one of the best and safest places to live.
The city has a rich history. The fertile land was originally inhabited by native peoples; among the first outsiders were Father Jacques Marquette and the French explorer Louis Joliet. Gradually, other settlers arrived, for example the trader DuPage (after whom the local river is also named). In 1831, the greatest development of the newly emerging settlement was led by Captain Joseph Naper. The town gradually expanded, and in 1890 Naperville was officially registered as a city.
How residents lived here in the past can now be seen at the open-air museum – Naper Settlement – located directly in the city center. Various themed activities are often organized there. Another popular place for spending free time is the Naperville Park District, where many cultural events for the whole family take place. Its central part is the Riverwalk, which runs along the DuPage River, Centennial Beach, and the water park. The DuPage Children’s Museum, the Morton Arboretum, the SciTech Museum, as well as many small shops and restaurants, are also well worth a visit.
The city has a highly developed school system, with students able to choose between public, private, or church-run elementary and secondary schools. University education is also important – among others, North Central College is located here.
The city of Naperville has been a sister city of Nitra since 1993. The creation of this cooperation was also helped by several parallels – both cities are crossed by a river, they are university towns, they have similar climatic conditions, agriculture, a similar area/population size… and both start with N 😉
