Better Call Saul is the prequel series to Breaking Bad. Like that series, it is filmed in and around Albuquerque. It tells the story how Jimmy McGill comes to be known as "Saul Goodman", the lawyer who "put 'criminal' in criminal defense lawyer".
Mike Ehrmantraut is harassing Hector Salamanca's cross-border drug smuggling line from the the Juárez cartel. At this intersection, portrayed as Mexico, Mike throws a pair of new shoes over a power line then hides himself nearby in a location not filmed here. A Regalo Helado (Ice Cream) truck stops here and the two men leave their guns at a dead drop nearby (it's not there in real life either). Mike fires his rifle several times into the air. At first the men are concerned, but then assume it's a hunter in the area. As they leave, Mike shoots the shoes. Cocaine sprays out onto the truck's roof and rear bumper. At the border crossing a dog is alerted by the cocaine, Hector's drug runners are arrested, and the illicit cargo inside discovered. See a clip here.
Besides no dead drop box in the ground, there is no road sign nor power line here; the power lines and maybe the sign must have been CGI. You can access the cache by parking on the side of the dirt road (Ira Sprecker Rd). Be safe and do not park on the busier paved road, Los Picaros. No need to go inside the fence either. That's where ATVs and motorbikes sometimes go.
