Having grown up using Sykes wood,Post hill, and the troydale fullneck vally as my back garden, using the area for geocaching is perfect for me and the kids as we know every inch and blade of grass as far as the eye can see. This geocach is placed in our favorite spot in the beautiful Sykes wood ....The iron bru factory. having been told this fun but false infomation as a child is only natural I pass this fun but false infomation to my children. A small and well hidden iron spring overlooked by the many visitors in the area. The orange spring runs into the stream that runs through sykes wood. You will need your walking boots for this one is about a15 mins walk from both parking oppotunities. Inside is a log, pen,and rainbow crayon for swaps! Happy hunting (and beware of the muggles)
parking is available off whitehall road on back lane 200 yard on the left from the junction. Alternatively parking is available on tong roan opposite the junction with roker lane.
