I haven't hosted an event close to home in a bit so I figured why not make it fun with a spin at my usual event location. So if you are hungry...
Depending on the number of "will attends" we will either sit out front or in the back inside the location. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE GIFT EXCHANGE.
Below are the rules that the exchange will consist of. Be creative and funny but please keep with the theme, GEOCACHING.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PARTICIPATE! But if you CHOOSE to participate, let's keep the theme GEOCACHING. There will be gifts for young kids so their gift isn't stolen. Please confirm the number from your party that are participating, one gift per person.
1. Each player brings one wrapped gift to contribute to a common pool
GEOCACHING THEME
2. Players draw numbers to determine what order they will go in
WE WILL DRAW NUMBERS to establish an order
3. The first player selects a gift from the pool and opens it
Make sure everyone can see the gift!
4. The following players can choose to either pick an unwrapped gift from the pool or steal a previous player’s gift. Anyone who gets their gift stolen in this way can do the same – choose a new gift or steal from someone else.
- A present can only be stolen TWICE DURING THE GAME
5. After all players have had a turn, the first player gets a chance to swap the gift he or she is holding for any other opened gift.
