Hid this cache today in memory of Nan, Sarah, who's birthday would be tomorrow, November 12. Was hoping to find a spot close to her house and luckily I was able to get one, just to the side of a piece of land belonging to Pop which was a meadow and I remember a cow named Rosie being. Just to the side of this land is a single bushy everygreen which was the perfect spot close enough to the house and was able to get it in around the large amount of caches in the area.
I had forgotten about the big rock there which was a place we always wanted to play growning up but were rarely allowed because we were so small. I guess it seemed so big back then and a few of us wold climb up and sit on it's little ledge. There was no road below the trailer that was in the movie "Grown Up Movie Star". This area had wooden fences around the properties and everything was meadows and grass. A rooster would jump up on a fence in the same perch everyday and wake you up too early. Hens and baby chicks would freely walk the area. Many fond memories of visiting Nan and Pop and the weekends and hanging out on Wade's Lane. Some berries pickers were there today but no berries like when we were young, The entire area was full of them. Lots of hikers to be seen enjoying this beautiful November day.
The road is very narrow so don't park on Wade's Lane. Use the parking area which people use when hiking to the beamer.
When placed, the cache had some trinkets, an angel with a November birthstone, the lyrics to Nan's favorite song, A Mother's Love Is A Blessing, and a new TRADE ONLY trackable.
