Das Event
Es ist mal wieder so weit: Der Advent steht vor der Tür! Und auch die Weihnachtsmärkte starten wieder voll durch, so auch in Rodenbach. Den Start in die besinnliche Zeit möchten wir mit einem kleinen Plausch auf dem Rodenbacher Weihnachtsmarkt einläuten. Bei einer Tasse Glühwein, heißem Met oder Kinderpunsch machen wir es uns gemütlich (so gut es geht). Wir treffen uns um 19:30 Uhr zwischen Imker-Stand und dem Stand des Musikverein Rodenbach (MVR), dort werden Stehtische vorhanden sein. Auch das nicht alltägliche Logbuch liegt hier aus. Direkt an diesen Ständen gibt es auch heiße Getränke (mit und ohne %). Das Event ist "open end", und alle die nur früher kommen können, treffen den ein oder anderen Geocacher sicher auch schon vorher für ein Gespräch an ;-)
Das Event findet bei jedem Wetter statt. Im Notfall kann in das kleine Zelt ausgewichen werden. Die Toiletten am Rand des Platzes sind während des Weihnachtsmarktes geöffnet.
An den angegebenen Parkkordinaten sind ein paar Parkplätze vorhanden, aber erfahrungsgemäß schnell belegt. In den umliegenden Straßen findet sich aber sicherlich ein Ort fürs Cache-Mobil.
Über den Weihnachtsmarkt
Der Rodenbacher Weihnachtsmarkt ist ein schmucker kleiner Weihnachtsmarkt, auf dem die örtlichen Vereine, Künstler und Hobbyhandwerker ihre Stände aufbauen. Es werden die entsprechenden Erzeugnisse angeboten und wer Essen und Getränke sucht wird nicht enttäuscht. Auf der Bühne wird für entsprechendes Rahemprogramm und musikalische Untermalung gesorgt und auch der Nikolaus schaut vorbei (Programm s.u.). Daneben gibt es ein kleines Zelt, in dem die "empfindlichen" Zünfte unter gebracht sind und in das man sich im größten Wetter- Notfall flüchten kann. Eine Auswahl an Essen und Getränken: Flammkuchen, Bratwurst, Waffeln, frittierte Kartoffeln, Crepes, Gebäck, Kaffe, Glühwein, Met, Punsch...

The event
It's time again: Advent is just around the corner! And also the Christmas markets start again fully through, so also in Rodenbach. We would like to ring in the start into the contemplative time with a small chat on the Rodenbacher Christmas market. The event takes place in any weather. In case of emergency you can dodge into the small tent. The toilets at the edge of the square are open during the Christmas market.
There are a few parking spaces available at the indicated parking coordinates, but experience has shown that they are quickly occupied. In the surrounding streets there is certainly a place for the Cache-Mobile.
About the Christmas Market
The Rodenbach Christmas Market is a pretty little Christmas market where the local clubs, artists and hobby craftsmen build their stands. The appropriate products are offered and who looks for food and beverages is not disappointed. On the stage there will be an appropriate frame program and musical background music, and St. Nicholas will also be on hand (see program below). Besides there is a small tent, in which the "sensitive" guilds are accommodated and in which one can escape in the largest weather emergency. A selection of food and drinks: Flammkuchen, Bratwurst, waffles, fried potatoes, crepes, pastries, coffee, mulled wine, mead, punch...
