In years past, Santa slipped his sanity, Cracked his kringle, Fell off his rocker, and lost his mind. This year, it’s even worse!
This year, Santa’s Wrecked his Reindeer!
Decembember ALWAYS comes faster than we want.
The snow already flew in September.
And yes, soon it will be that time again,
For stealing the other guys’ gift… within reason.
And, like in previous years, we will do it with an event. If you attended any of the last four parties, then you know of the joyful lunacy that ensued. If you didn’t, well, let’s just say it will be interesting. Heck, it even drew cachers from the West Side.
Like every year, there will be an exchange, but not of gifts. This will be a Cache exchange.
If you weren’t at any of the other events, then here’s the run down. Everyone can attend and bringing a cache is optional however, those that want in on the exchange must bring an unplaced/unused cache container.Wrapping the cache is highly encouraged! I strongly recommend unique and unusual however, you can go ordinary and plain too. (boring) Oh, and since there has been a rash of concern for quality and equality of cache containers, please take that into consideration. Once everyone has brought a cache and placed it under the tree, they will draw a number signifying their turn to pick a cache. Oh, and there will be games
There will be drinks and goodies but you are encouraged to bring something to share.
When: Saturday, 7 December from 6 pm to 9 pm, or later if necessary
Where: At the new Cache Cave. Sorry if you were banking on the same location ;-)
Why: Because the last four years were complete craziness and it MUST be repeated again!
So, you have plenty of time to get creative and construct the perfect cache container unless you are a Scrooge and wait ‘til the last minute and bring a bison tube.
