Recently I have been lucky enough to spend 2 minibreaks at a lovely airbnb in Tanners Point .
I have really enjoyed exploring and finding caches in the wider area.
I noticed this Rest Stop and thought it needed a new geocache .
The State Highway here is very busy ... and it is a good place to pull over and get out of the traffic,,,and have a snack or a cuppa .
There is a beautiful carved Pou at the area too...It is named Muriwai, which can be translated as Back Water or Waters End.
I couldn't find out anything about it unfortunately.
There exists a whole tribe of friendly chooks here too ! I guess people feed them...This visit, one hen had 3 tiny newly hatched chicks !
The cache is a screw top jar ... near a shortish wooden post close to 2 rather friendly trees... Mind the wire.
Have included a few toys...Room for trackables .
