About five and a half years ago, a few geo hobos hiked in and gathered near here for late night primitive campfire stories and smores and such (GC4ZPZ7). We're going to try that again, but starting around early dinner time, and going until whenever.
I'm planning on starting my hike sometime between noonish and 3pm at Tot Hill parking area, Thanksgiving feast aftermath permitting. If the camp spot is already occupied before I stumble in, we'll adapt and overnight somewhere near, somehow. Watch for signs and signals. I'll be the guy with the ancient backpack and trackable boots, hopefully still kicking.
And as Boyscouts say, always be prepared.
