My uncle recently passed at the ripe old age of 92...and his code was to play a hole of golf for each year of his life. The man carried his own bags until about 5 years ago. (He made the Gunisess Book of World Records!) Yeah, bizarre compulsions tend to run the in the family! (San Bernardino County Thomas Guide challenge for the win!)
He was also a high pointer. I think he is #8 on the list.
Anyway, this year I want to do 65 caches on Route 66. (Medicare eligible baby!)
And I will drive my own jeep... and will personally sign each log. None of this community logging crap on the Mother Road for me on this fine day (You all can do what the Hell you want, but I need to honor his code.)
We meet at Eddie's World before the event... and those that want to extend the day are welcome! (p.s. the hot dogs are awesome, but you can't get one until 11 am... so you will have to settle for the even better Breakfast sandwich.)
