Rolla's 11-acre Veterans Memorial Park is a perfect place to relax and reflect on America's military history. The Freedom Walk is one-quarter of a mile in length and includes 17 monuments detailing the history of the nation's major military engagements. The park also features a large pavilion and a restroom building. It is intended to serve as a venue for veterans funerals, first time enlistments, military and non-military weddings and ceremonies, as well as civic holiday activities.
