Come celebrate the Holiday Season with friends and future friends.
During this event we won't just be greeting other cachers, swapping stories and sharing trackables, it is also an (optional) Caching Gift Exchange! You do not have to participate in the gift exchange to log the event as a find, but if you do wish to participate in the gift exchange please continue reading.

10:30 – 11:00 Using the cords you just received go find your gift. Once you find your gift please return to the Jefferson Community Center to share your gift (sharing is your option).
11:00 – 12:30 Visit with other cachers, swapping stories and sharing trackables. I will be providing a sandwich ring for everyone to enjoy. If you want to bring something to snack on that would be great but is entirely optional.
Guidelines for the Geocaching Gift Exchange
1. Purchase geocaching related gift. Cost between 20 & 25 dollars. That cost includes the container that can also be used for geocaching. It's important that people receive gifts worth what they gave, so don't be a grinch! Thanks. Please put your user name on your gift so that the finder knows that they found the correct gift.
2. Before you get to the Jefferson Community Center you need to hide your gift (if participating) within a 10 mile radius of the center. Write down the cords where you hid your temporary cache. Continue on to the Jefferson Community Center.
3. When you get to the Jefferson Community Center bring your cords in and I will be proving bison tubes for everyone to use to put your username and cords in. They will then be placed in a container for the drawing of tubes later. Everyone who places a bison tube in the bowl will then be able to randomly choose another bison tube from the bowl. For those families with multiple cachers, you may get more than one bison tube, but there needs to be one Christmas Cache hidden for each bison tube received and placed in the bowl or someone will be disappointed.
4. Besides thanking your caching gift giver at the event you can also thank them when you log your attendance at the event on line.
Credits: This is not my original idea. I attended an event last year hosted by ARealWhit (GC80BEG) and have drawn heavily from his idea. ARealWhit say he borrowed extensively from Profbrad (GC7Z5HM) and LeadSinger’s (GC673E0) excellent event descriptions.
Hoping to see everyone at the event. Happy and Safe Caching to all.
