This memorial commemorates those members of the 1st Bexleyheath Scout Group who lost their lives in the great wars. The original wooden plaque was replaced by a cast iron one in the 1950's. Most of the boys recorded must have been Patrol Leaders as many became Officers in the Forces.
Update 16/12/25: Below the memorial there are a couple of wooden crosses with some embroidered poppies and 6 words on them, A to F (number of letters in the words).
