This memorial commemorates those members of the 1st Bexleyheath Scout Group who lost their lives in the great wars. The original wooden plaque was replaced by a cast iron one in the 1950's. Most of the boys recorded must have been Patrol Leaders as many became Officers in the Forces.
Update 20/4/21: One of the wreaths on the tree has a picture of a cross and flowers in a field. At the bottom of the card are 14 words. Use the number of letters in the word to find the final co-ordinates.
