The Torre del Cap d'Or was an old defensive tower, against marauding pirates. It stands high above Moraira and is one of the town's most distinctive features.
There is a relatively easy path, from the co-ordinates of the trailhead, up to the torré, from where there is a fantastic view of the town and the mountains beyond.
This cache can be found on the way to another cache, at the torré, or taken on its own if you fancy a view, if a lesser one, but don't feel like the full walk.
The trailhead can be found either by walking up from the beach at El Portet or driving up the steep hill. There is limited parking at the trailhead but you should find somewhere. The path leads off, through a wooden fence, turning uphill almost immediately. It is a rocky, but fairly easy, climb in dry weather but is very slippery when wet (as Bon Jovi said).
The cache is by the path, which is a popular one, so please beware of muggles and tuck it away well after signing the log. There is no pencil so please bring your own pen. Although listed as a micro, it is between that and a small cache.
Note: This is a replacement cache for my original Towards the Torre, which I was asked to disable, then archive, due to 2 DNFs and my not being able to carry out maintenance in the allowed time. When I was able to check the cache, it was perfect, so I have simply placed a new log in the container for this new cache. I should mention otti64 as the FTF for the original cache, before the 2 DNFs, since the cache was still present, although a new FTF is now to be had.

La Torre del Cap d'Or era una antigua torre defensiva, contra piratas merodeadores. Se encuentra muy por encima de Moraira y es una de las características más distintivas de la ciudad.
Hay un camino relativamente fácil, desde las coordenadas del comienzo del sendero, hasta el torré, desde donde hay una vista fantástica de la ciudad y las montañas más allá.
Este caché se puede encontrar en el camino a otro caché, en el torré, o tomado solo si te apetece una vista, si es menor, pero no te apetece la caminata completa.
El comienzo del sendero se puede encontrar caminando desde la playa en El Portet o subiendo la colina empinada. Hay estacionamiento limitado en el comienzo del sendero, pero debe encontrar algún lugar. El camino conduce, a través de una cerca de madera, girando cuesta arriba casi de inmediato. Es una subida rocosa, pero bastante fácil, en clima seco, pero es muy resbaladiza cuando está mojada (como dijo Bon Jovi).
El caché está en la ruta, que es popular, así que tenga cuidado con los muggles y guárdelo bien después de firmar el registro. No hay lápiz, así que traiga su propio bolígrafo. Aunque aparece como un micro, está entre eso y un pequeño caché.
Nota: Este es un caché de reemplazo para mi Towards the Torre original, que me pidieron que deshabilitara, luego archivara, debido a 2 DNF y a que no pude realizar el mantenimiento en el tiempo permitido. Cuando pude verificar el caché, fue perfecto, así que simplemente coloqué un nuevo registro en el contenedor para este nuevo caché. Debo mencionar otti64 como FTF para el caché original, antes de los 2 DNF, ya que el caché todavía estaba presente, aunque ahora se tiene un nuevo FTF.
