If you like country/western music then you know who Brooks and Dunn are. This song was bouncing around in my head as we bounced down the dirt road heading for some Racetrack caches. Google the video of this title by them and enjoy a well crafted song video which also included Reba McIntyre. After a stretch of dirt road that seemed endless, G&C and I came to a cattleguard and a fence. We stopped, stretched our legs and decided to leave a cache for those who might follow in our wake. Its low on the fence to the east of the road. Don't waste your time looking around the cattle guard, look for where the metal posts begin. Watch out for barb wire and saber tooth tigers. BYOP
The roads are dirt and I'd recommend not coming out here if they are wet or you have bad weather. Be prepared and you might have cell coverage due to the proximity of I-80 but be prepared nonetheless. Plenty of water, gas and supplies and a vehicle that can handle the type of roads out here.
BMars7391 deserves a big CONGRAT'S for chasing this one down and helping fix it back up as it seemed to be muggled (probably a cow)before it had any human visitors. Well done Brady but that's a long way out there in the dark.
