I've spent many of hours here when my daughters were young, for that matter, even when my son was young also, just over there, on the other side of the armory, at the sake of being nostalgic, I kinda miss those days, but, as the saying goes, time marches on. under that hill, as the story goes, and has been repeated thousand times over, is much rubble from the June 3rd, 1980 tornadoes that made national news, and is still mentioned today. Ya know, when that tornado hit, I was in high school and lived in Central City, I could have came here to G.I. that evening, but, a girl convinced me not to go, before I knew what had happened here in G.I.,I remember looking up at the sky and saying, "wow. something bad is happening over there buy G.I.", then the sirens went off where I was at. Anyway, back to this cache, just park in the designated area, walk over here to it, and reach out and grab it, YEP, just like that. OH, ya, look out for muggles, given the right time of year and day there are MANY of them here, PLEASE put it back the way you found it, and as always, be respectful of the area, it's a nice place. HAPPY CACHING!!
