We think this spot is a bit of a hidden gem. Looking for uncrowded spots to walk during ISO we found this tucked away spot, with lots of room and not many people it's become a favorite. Tucked in the suburb between busy roads and market gardens a lovely park with old forest space and wildlife.
It has a good gravel walking path that loops through and signage explaining Aboriginal significance of the Kulin Nation.
We've had fun hiding a couple of caches in the park to encourage you to walk through and enjoy. They don't need to be done in order but number 2 is much easier starting at 1.
This cache is hidden on a higher point just off the track near the memorial for John Petzke who lived on the property before donating it. This is a 1lt sistema so has room for swaps, it has started with a random collection of "freebies" from the supermarkets as we have amassed quite a few and weirdly the kids like them and enjoy swapping.
