This is the highest point in East Kilbride and you will be able to enjoy views across East Kilbride. According to the David Ure book about East Kilbride and Rutherglen, written in the mid 18th century, this was an artificial Motte which sat uphill from Lickprivick Castle. If you peek through the fence at GZ you will see a quarry which is approximately 100-150 years old and further down the hill the site of the castle. This castle dates from the 14th century and at the point when Ure wrote his book, nothing was left.
The cache is a quick find on the fence main post.
