Geocache Description:

Once upon a time there was a wandering giant minstrel who looked for love and searched the clouds and found a small medicine woman. They proclaimed their love and were married with great celebration and jollity.

This geocache was placed to celebrate the wedding of Simon and Harriet both keen geocachers

This is our first cache and can be taken in conjunction with the For Aimee series .

There is a circular walk which takes about one and a half hours taking in the towpath of the Basingstoke canal and a signed route through Dogmersfield Park with the Four Seasons Hotel as a backdrop and the lovely Tundry Pond with its variety of bird life.

The coordinates given are for parking at the Barley Mow Slipway Carpark.

On the walk along the towpath, old World War 2 relics may be encountered including Pill Boxes, Tank Traps, anti Tank Cylinders and Mine Sockets

The cache is a clipbox in a camobag

Many thanks to the Basingstoke Canal Authority for permission to place this cache.
