Once you have completed all 5 stages of the Adventure cache “Haunted Bury St Edmunds” you will have the information you need to solve this puzzle.
We hope you enjoyed the Adventure Lab. There were many more stories that we were not able to include, but we are able, here, to include one last tale of spectral visitation.
The final cache location is close to Eastgate Street where there is the story of Mary Treese, a Crimean War nurse who returned with a soldier she had cared for. They had fallen in love much to the disapproval of her father. The couple tried to elope but her father found out and shot and killed the unknown soldier. As punishment he also died, at the hands of the hangman!
They say that every year, in October, you can hear a gunshot and the despairing scream of the young woman.
