This is the 1st in a 4-part geocache series. More Than Meets The Eye-land will take you to various points around Goose Island State Park while you learn about its lesser known histories. There is little traveling required for this cache and it is easily accessible. There is a physical, regular-sized container with a TPWD logo.
Park is open to Daily Guests from 7am-10pm. There is a $5/person entrance fee. Twelve years old and younger are free. (There is the annual Texas State Parks Pass for $70/year, everyone in the SAME vehicle as the passholder get in free. There are additional Discount cards for certain senior citizens, disabled veterans, and those receiving Social Security for a medical disability. These passes are valid at ALL Texas State Parks!
